Speaking for the bride I decided to look up father of the bride sample speeches on the computer because my biggest fear was looking foolish. I watched uncertain fathers sending their little girls out into the world. I could hear the Years fly by like minutes as pig tails gave way to beauty. The day of the wedding as I stood, I realized I had written this speech for myself about my fears and the bitter sweet sorrow of losing my little girl.
